TaxLeaf.com is a professional business and tax accounting firm established in 1976. We specialize in business accounting for the real estate industry in South Florida. We are currently working with Steve Dalia to offer a special promotion for Real Estate Agents who operate under a PA (Professional Association). If this is your case, your PA should be filing its taxes as an S-Corporation.
If you’ve formed a PA, you must submit a form to the IRS requesting they treat your PA as an S Corporation. Without this form, the IRS will not consider your PA an S-Corporation. S-Corporations are a special entity type available in Florida which provide some tax benefits to Realtors.
An S-Corporation is a pass-through entity type which means all profits or losses are passed through to the owner. If the PA is owned by only yourself, then all profits and/or losses of the PA are transferred to you on an individual level. Therefore, this income will be reported on your individual tax return. The PA will still have to file a corporate tax return, but the taxes on any gain will be reported and paid on your individual tax return.
Your S-Corporation for your PA must be filed by March 15 of each calendar year. With an appropriate extension, you can file by September 15. We can help file the appropriate extension. Just let us know you need one.
Your Individual Tax Return must be filed by April 15 of each calendar year. With an appropriate extension, you can file by October 15. We can help file the appropriate extension. Just let us know you need one.
TaxLeaf has partnered with Steve Dalia to offer a great promotion for both your PA and your Individual Tax Return. For only $499 TaxLeaf.com will prepare and file your PA and Individual Tax Returns. To take advantage of this promotion, fill out the form to the right.
